We emphasize easy-to-understand sessions, hands-on applications, and practical learning that aligns with our core values of excellence, purpose-driven training, and well-being.
What This Workshop Offers
Our workshops are structured to support a wide range of participants—from beginners who are just starting out with wearables and tracking apps, to seasoned professionals looking to integrate data-based insight into their coaching or recovery strategies. We welcome individuals who are curious about integrating technology into their long-term athletic development, and especially those who engage directly with The Spoon Athletic’s focus areas such as fitness nutrition, workout recovery, and performance optimization.
Workshop Content Includes
Across the session series, we cover a mix of learning formats, all designed with participant comprehension and long-term use in mind:
- Live demonstrations of performance-tracking apps and devices
- Hands-on segments analyzing biometric reports and health logs
- Discussions on ethics in sports tech and personal information management
- Guided setup of nutrition tracking interfaces and recovery monitors
- Real-time Q&A and guidance from professional athletes and tech educators
All sessions are delivered in person at our Dayton, Ohio location and are led by instructors with deep knowledge in athletic technologies. Additional digital handouts and session recordings are available for registered participants.

Open Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Advance registration is required, and seating is limited to ensure quality instruction and personalized support. We provide all necessary materials on-site, so just bring yourself, your questions, and (if you have them) any wearable devices or platforms you currently use.
Meet the Founder
Tylisia Mornelle, founder of The Spoon Athletic, brings over a decade of experience in athletic healthcare and science-backed training. Her guiding belief is that when athletes understand the technologies supporting them, they can train smarter, recover better, and perform longer. Her work in developing this workshop series reflects a commitment to integrity, education, and progressive health insights throughout the athletic world.
